Of course you can join us, topsyhenri, you too eagles74! Welcome to the thread ....as some would say the better one on MSE.;) It's lovely to have you with us.
Have fun saving in 2011. You'll find your numbers at the bottom of the list on post 3 of page 1. Please read through posts 1 & 2 as it'll let you know exactly what to do with the challenge. NB. Please pop your number on your sig, it helps so very much.
Eagles, it's so good to see people so eager to befriend us and save money for themselves.
Topsyhenri, you're not too late, we only started on the 1st, so plenty of time to stash the cash.
Ruby, I love your sensible attitude in wanting the wedding to be about YOU bothwith friends and family who are dear to you. Far better to keep it to an affordable amount than be in debt before you even get married. Look forward to it with joy!
luckycharlie wrote: »Anyway I have a plan! Hope Sue won't expel me. I thought that at the end of each month I would bank all whole bags of money and put them in a new bank account, but any odd bits left over I would hide away. Then at the end of the year I would still have something to total up, but wouldn't have much money in the house. Am I allowed to do this!!! I could keep a running total in my signature. Well! what do you think.
BTW have we a total yet? Oh! Sorry I remember now I said I wouldn't ask:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Hiya LC 2, I'm so pleased you're feeling so very much better today, a good night's sleep helping as well as a lazy day yesterday.
Aha.... I get it now it's YOU who put the mockers on our Stunty going awol, you and you're ruddy hat!!!
I don't think I could ever find it in me to expel anyone, though let me think on that.... So long as you keep a running total - what could be wrong with you doing what you wish. I don't care about people doing as they wish, after all if it suits them better - why not! The most important thing is that we save!!! Go ahead LC2 and .....be happy with your savings. :xmassmile BTW, yes we do have a Total - sparky and I know it well thanks...:p I've promised it by or on Friday - but as soon as folk stop taking notice of the reminder thread and SPC 3 thread, then that'll be it. Watch carefully and you'll see it soon, promise. :A
