    Morning all
LC2 ((HUGS)) hope you're feeling better hun x

Ruby congrats to you and your OH

Well done to everyone else on some great saving. Also a very warm welcome to our newest members.

£2 and cahnge into the tin for me last night (my aim is at least £2 a day) also 15p in road change safely tucked away (road change pays for my scooter tax & MoT, plus any surplus pays for petrol)

Have a great day everyone stay safe and keep saving

Thanks everyone! We're not the type of people to make a huge fuss, we don't want a big church wedding and all the trimmings. Actually I have found the perfect place which isn't too expensive. I want a simple wedding, after all it's about us and not anything else. So it probably will be very MSE!

  • 20p in for me yesterday - the find from hubby's bedside table! Shall try to remember to empty the change from the car into the tin tonight as it's mostly coppers in there, so no good for car parking meters anyway...

  • Quite a few pennies in my tin yesterday - some of them paper pennies.

A lad in work owed me money, so that went in, my son owed me £5 so that went in, the change from my chinese takeaway went in (i don't cook on mondays) and I had 2 x £2 coins, so they went in my £2 tin (which is raidable for special events, like quilting exhibitions)

And congrats to Ruby (?) on th engagement. Do you need anybody to make invitations etc? I'm a beginner so I'm really cheap!!!!!!!:rotfl:

I'll stick up for you tinkers! I read your post to mean that you had taken the money out of the bank, and then put the change in the sealed tin << confused>>.

Loving your excitement by the way.

    Toodles.

Lol thanks you're quite right I did mean out of the bank, in fairness I missed the key word out of my post :rotfl:

Sue, I am actually a bit scared ...... promise I will never break into the sealed pot .... I won't even try to peep :A

In fact the sealed pot is so well sealed it's going to be a challenge in itself breaking in!

Have a terrific Tuesday one and all, off to work xx

Well I am off to lunch later with a friend (Yes I do have real ones):rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

So should have some coins for my pot.

Anyway I have a plan! Hope Sue won't expel me. I thought that at the end of each month I would bank all whole bags of money and put them in a new bank account, but any odd bits left over I would hide away. Then at the end of the year I would still have something to total up, but wouldn't have much money in the house. Am I allowed to do this!!! I could keep a running total in my signature. Well! what do you think.

BTW have we a total yet? Oh! Sorry I remember now I said I wouldn't ask:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Morning LC2
However you save your money doesn't matter, so long as you save it, plus as you say you won't have lots of money lying around the house, I'm sure Sue will give you the go ahead :D
