Sue our leader is indisposed at the moment after a nasty fall and can't get online to allocate you a number but please consider yourself in the gang, enjoy the banter and most of all enjoy saving. Hi Cloudatlas and welcome to the mad house. Its never too late to join. Sue our leader had a bad fall and isn't around for a while but Sparky..he who should be obeyed:rotfl: in her absence will be along later to welcome you officially.

Hello again EVERYONE!! :wave: I've missed you all so
very much, but glancing over the pages swiftly I see so many beautiful wishes from you that it's really touched my heart in a marvellous way - thank you ALL sincerely from the bottom of my heart.

Thank you too dear Sparky for keeping everything ticking over so
nicely and for kndly keeping me in touch with everyone via e-mails with my beloved DH. He's been fantastic throughout all this and made amazing meals which I attribute to my recovery so far, that and all his housework, bless him, he's an angel! :kisses3:


I'm still having great problems with my hand/arm and have seen my Dr again and now having emergency therapy! At present I'm using a "speech to text" device to make proper contact with you, my very dear friends! Bless all those who have been warmly welcoming new members, it's great for them all to know we're such a band of [STRIKE]nutters[/STRIKE] lovely folk. Thank you kindly, sparky my 2nd in command and Footiemad, another cheery welcomer. Hello to Sue - or should i say good afternoon your highness - i hear you are the leader / mothership!

Raided my drawer at work as promised - £1.54 stuffed into the pot today - i dont think i should have put all the pennies in there as its quite a tight fit - going to squeeze what i else i can do in there until the weekend and buy a new pot on saturday or may even attempt at making my own.

right, off to revise for tax exam tomorrow - you think a trainee accountant wouldnt have any debt wouldnt you....hmm!

ah tis true, that pair have been like a pair of terriers snapping at us to stick all our change in the pot (not that they managed to stop some of us opening our pots;) - hehehe totally grassing them up to sue-UU there!:rotfl:)

another 85p into pot number 2 today its starting to get a little bit of weight now, now only another 6 months to wait to get counting . . . or can i open pot 1 now as ive been a good girl

Welcome back Sue, your post cheered me up when I opened the thread! The "speech to text" device sounds very technical, I dread to think what I would be posting if I was let loose with one of those!

72p in the pot yesterday, I'm not exactly how it came to that figure (seems a combination of being given too much change and being a bit overgenerous with what went in!) but the more the merrier!
