    Afternoon everyone
Received an email from Sue's hubby unfortunately she's not mending as she should be and looks like she'll have to go back to see the specialist at the hospital to try to get to the bottom of it. I've sent her all your best wishes and her DH said to tell everyone how much she appreciates them.

Send her big hugs from me and the lovely wife :grouphug:. Hope she gets better soon.
Potting a pound today...it didn't get spent at the car boot :D :rotfl: :D. Got some jim jams for the kids, a printer for parts/to use, and a hat for the little one. Shame I lost one of her boots while she was in the pram. That wasn't very MSE was it? :money: :rotfl: :money: Nevermind, I'll gaffa tape them on next time.

Hope you've had a good day potting :j  :j.

It's sooooo painful waiting for the pot to get full up so you can start a new one isn't it :D

    Get well soon Sue xxx

driving me mad! i reacon that Sparky has been raiding my tin thinking its road change  darn him and his magnetic shoes!! Either that or ive got the bermuda triangle stuck in the bottom of the pot swallowing my change :rotfl:

Not a very MSE day today, my daughter has managed to lose one of her brand new shoes we bought yesterday, I think she might have put it helpfully in one of the boxes that went to the tip  and then I opened the washing machine to find hubbys mobile phone stuck in the bottom from where he had put his jacket by the machine and not emptied the pockets! (seems this is my fault for assuming a dirty jacket thrown on top of the washing pile was part of the washing!)

    Hi Everyone

I have had a busy couple of days, so not had any time to catch up properly or post.

Found 20p road kill on Friday :j on the way back to the car after shopping at A1d1 with my sister. I was never so happy, my sis was highly amused. :)

Fed Rosie £3.10 in varying denominations today, as finally managed to empty purse. Also £8 in £2 golden ones for the holiday pot which is currently an unused purse till I get to £1 shop to get a tin. Decided old coffee jar just wont cut it, dont want to get in there till Sept. ;)

Swapped coins with netball subs so I could have the £2 coins.

Well thats it for me. Need to read through a few more bits and then sort out more bits for selling on £bay. I have finally managed to list some things :j now for the dosh to come in.

Enjoy the rest of the day folks and have a good day tomorrow.

    TTFN:p

    Hi Sparky

Thanks for the update re Sue. How awful that she is not mending how she would like. Fingers crossed she gets the right answers when she visits the consultant. :grouphug::grouphug:

Tell her I am sending her a big hug and tell her to keep smiling.

Hope you well too and that you had a nice time out on the scooter posing if you got out there ;)

Aww, I didn't know our Sue was unwell, haven't been in for a while. I hope you get well soon Sue. XXX

  • 15p in the pot yesterday, change from a couple of taxis taken when I was on a night out yesterday (not very MSE but the area is a bit remote so I decided my mum's peace of mind was worth it!) Since I'm trying to save more of my budget each week, I'm also going to add in today 52p to round up how much I've spent so far this week :) I don't know how much is in there at the moment so I'll just hope it's as heavy on the pounds as it is in weight!
    Thank you competition posters!

    Evening all

Managed 5 x £1 coins and 1p roadkill while I was out walking in the lovely sunshine this morning.

Sorry to hear you haven't been making the progress you had hoped for Sue - hope it won't be too long before you are back with us. Take good care of yourself. x

Hope you have all made the most of this lovely weather - hopefully it is just the start of better things to come ;)
