"Sealed Pot Challenge 4"

Have been looking at this thread on and off for a few weeks, and thought it was about time I joined

I really need something to aim towards- not a particular amount, but rather a REASON to put the coins in the sealed pot, or else it will never happen. I'm still thinking...... I have a lovely terramundi pot that I'm going to use, so I won't want to break it open unless it's really necessary.

I'll start anyway.... no doubt I'll think of something to save for!

Right, having a sort-out of my purse, and am going to put in £1.04

Our lovely leader Sue is out of action at the moment so you will be allocated your number when she returns.
In the meantime our deputy Sparky will come along and officially welcome you. He keeps us all in check know an he is the king of road kill too. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Sue had a bad fall a week or so ago and so ago and is now nursery her injuries. Sparky is in touch with her DH through PM's and up dates us all when he hears. I am sure when he reads your post he will pass on your wishes to her.;)

No need to apologise for barging, just shows how well thought of she is. There are some undates already on here if you look back.

declaring 50p for my pot today, it was looking all forlorn alone in my purse so I felt it was only right to liberate it to the 'pot of friends' where hopefully it will find its 50p soul mate and maybe through a budding romance make little baby 20ps and thus increase the total of my pot. Of course when open up and bag up day comes I will feel sorry for any babies made as they are thrust into a 20p bag away from their 50p parents 'mum, dad?' :rotfl:

Ah im afraid you will never understand the pure love we hold for someone elses old buttons unless you are a closet crafter yourself! and when you buy a mixed bag and find 2 THE SAME!!

You have been speaking to my wife! She said you would have had fun ratching through the stuff she got from the car boot the other day ...They came with a free Quality Street tin; oh the joy :rotfl:.

My husbad just puts my 'oooo look at this fabulous red button' down to me being slightly eccentric (well thats what I call it)

Does he do the, that's fantastic dear face too . The lovely wife even told the biggest, "sssshhhh, let's not tell daddy about the buttons". The biggest one even agreed, "yes mammy". She's went one down on my favourite peoples list now :rotfl: . I think she's passed the 'bug' onto the little one, because she saw a pin cushion, and got a little bit too excited, me thinks .

Right, update time, more multicoloured coins for the Mr. Tumble pot. Going to get my blood taken today; fingers crossed I don't pass out on anybody :rotfl: .

Im actually quite jealous of the free tin! thats just an extra bargain, thats free storage!!

Yes he also makes encouraging noises at me aswell and I have also done the 'dont tell daddy about the new beads' with the kids which normally comes with a chocolate flavoured bribe. everytime he stumbles across something new im like 'oh ive had that AGESS havent I kids!' which the both dutifully nod their heads :rotfl:

I have to admit to also encouraging my children in my mania, 3 year old got beads and laces for her birthday (still prefers to steal mine and use them instead and her little face lit up and the sight of al those buttons!:T)
