Just emptied my other 2 piggy banks (mainly coppers) in it. Felt satisfying! :money:
I'd like to have £150 by the end of the year to pay for my iPhone upgrade. It's not a big target as I don't carry cash often.
Hello Silly_Girland welcome to the potters mad house. Our Leader Sue-uu is out of action at the moment, your number will be allocated in due course.;) In the meantime, keep potting the more the merrier I say. Sparky is keeping us in line until she returns and will welcome you officially as and when. He has been quiet today.
Enjoy and happy saving.:DFootiemad:footie: 2013 - SPC no.1147...Keeep potting!!

Well done on the potting everyone...Where's Sparky!!!!
Hope everyone has enjoyed the sunshine for another day. Doesn't it make you feel good.
Jakes-mum your comment about falling over really made me laugh. Hope your DS sticks with the martial arts, it will do him good. Sport is great for getting all the frustrations out and it can be character building.:D
Well busy busy today, coffee with a dear friend that lasted for 3 hours...we had lots to catch up on.We had 2 cups though.
Thirsty work. No cake though, I am in the zone for a weightloss this week
Then off to a meeting. Phew!
Fed Rosie 95p today but still no road kill, nose was to the ground, but will have to look harder.
Back to work tomorrow but a late start, then booked leave on Saturday and may be sunday.:D
Have a good day tomorrow folks whatever you do and well done on the potting.

Time for me to go outside and get a big Funtan, I think...:D
Lots of multi cloured shrapnel for Mr. Tumble last night....The biggest is even fully dressed for school already. Could this day get any better?

Yes our main posters seem to all be disappearing  I hope your not thinking of disappearing into the bermuda triangle too footie!!
I'm hoping he sticks to it too, he did Tang Soo Do as an after school cloub for 2 years but they just repeated the class exactly the second year so he was 'well i've done this and I know this so whats the point' at least with this one its a proper class which is based on Kempo (which his dad studied so that just makes it even cooler in his eyes) and he can work toward the different belts :T.
I think he was a bit self concious last night as we all stayed to watch and no-one elses parents did, but if im paying £35 enrolment and then £7.50 a week I wanted to see what I was paying for;)
They do an advanced class afterwards for the black belts where they practice proper combat and armed combat which he was desperate to have a go at, wasn't overly impressed with being told 'work hard, do your belts and then you can' :rotfl: but hopefully that will keep his interestSPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £225/£10000 -
Hi potters,
lovely sunny day here & yesterday I received another £2 coin so in to the pot it wentI'm due to be debt free within the the next few weeks & am thinking I might have a peek in my pot ... just to see how I'm doing & how much further I have to go to reach target ( £350 ).
DD starts high school in September & although I was originally saving my sealed pot for christmas ... I promised her a laptop for her 12th birthday in October ( to coincide with starting high school). I do have about £150 saved towards the lappie in my quidco funded account but wondered if it would be cheating to use the sealed pot as well ?
Any thoughts or opinions gratefully received0 -
May I join? I've got big ideas for 2011!0

Morning everyone.
No I haven't deserted youJust been busy in work, just checked my email and I have news on our leader, so here it is below
Morning Mark,
Many thanks for your e-mail and for the very kind and good wishes from
yourself, Jane and the thread members, they have really meant a great
deal to us both but especially to Sue as she really misses everyone.
Sue says to thank you very much indeed for the list of new members
that you have sent and for the change of target of one of the members,
it will help her so much when she's able to go back. For now she's
watching me like a hawk for any money I bring back after
doing a shop. I swear she has some sort of telepathy!
We went back for the follow-up appointment yesterday, Wednesday. The
consultant wanted more x-rays to make sure that her arm didn't have a
hairline fracture and she hasn't luckily. She still needs the splint
on her arm for now. Her knees and shins are healing slowly but her
ribs are still very painful but will possibly be another fortnight in
healing. He was very pleased with the way things are going so we were
both pleased to hear that.
Thanks very much for the contact and news Mark, it does Sue a lot of
good as she misses the thread and all those on it so much.Sparky0107 - Sealed pot challenge member #002. Total for SPC3 £1,030.57 Total For SPC 4 £2247.00 Total for SPC 5 £2574.62 :T Total for SPC 6 £4552.91:T
