Another fat gold one went in to the penguin today and I had to take the lid off my tin to get the work change in so will count that up over the weekend to get it banked next week.

Hi - I have managed to start the new tin off! Five little gold nuggets and a slightly crumpled fiver gone in over the last week! I have a tenner on me and we need some odds n ends so hopefully a little more cfan go in soon! still putting anything under 50p into the whiskey jar, not filling fast but i reckon theres at least £20 in there so far and another (almost) 9 months to go x have a great weekend everyone x

managed to pot another £1 last night but dont seem to be getting much change anywhere . Typical......if i didnt want any my purse sides would be bulging!!! cant afford to save any notes at the moment, too many bills and waiting for pay day.

afternoon everybody, hope everyone is well.

Didn't have chance to log on yesterday, we spent most of the day at the beach making the most of a very sunny day the North Sea was slightly chilly but we went for a paddle and blew away some cobwebs, it was great fun. As a result of fish & chips and ice cream I only managed to pot 75p yesterday.

I found 1p roadkill today so that went straight into my new pot along with 35p I have taken from hubby's wallet

I'm wondering if I should leave my first pot all sealed up until December or am I better off bagging it up and getting it in the bank ? I was going to leave it at the back of the wardrobe but I'm not so sure what to do for the best ?

I'm pleased to see ebay have another free listing weekend, I'm hoping to get at least 6 items listed.
