    Morning everyone
Had a MS in Liverpool city centre last night, so before we went DW decided she wanted something from the Body shop, while we were looking around, I noticed a young lady who was in a lot of distress. I asked if she was OK and she said she'd lost her Wedding ring, a platinum ring with 21 diamonds in it , anyway we all got on the floor to look for it, I then enlisted the help of the assistants in the shop, I went to look by the window and noticed her Wedding ring on the floor outside the shop :j. The result one very happy young lady :Tplus the manageress of the shop rewarded Sparky with some face scrubs and other creams for being a good samartin :D. I'm just made up that the poor girl got her Wedding ring back.

A few gold coins and extra change into my pot, plus 2p road change in Liverpool1.

Have a great day everyone, stay safe and keep saving from St Sparky of Liverpool :A

Awww bless you Sparky. Very good deed for the day. bought a smile to my face.:D:A...then you mention roadkill and spoil it:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I still haven't managed to find any, all be it I have had my nose nearly kissing the pavements to find some. Oh well I suppose I had better keep them peeled and you had better stick close to Liverpool 1 you cannot have mine too.:p

  • Hello Potters

I have managed to read all the posts in quick time tonight :D Well done everyone on their pots today, whether they be big or small and the money saving. I have my eye on topcash, just waiting to get my hands on the pennies so I can split it between here and VSP.

Hope everyone enjoyed their sunday lunch, I was working but had chilli from the batch I made a few days ago. Still jealous of those that had a proper one though ;)

Well I have managed to feed Rosie £1.62 today :D made up of 5 x 20ps, 50p, x2 5p's and x2 1p. Thats my shopping purse emptied of all the change.
Fat club tomorrow where I will gain more £'s for Rosie but hopefully lose a couple at least.

Not sure about the building up of muscle Sue, I haven't done enough yet but some would say I have plenty of muscle around my mouth :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Well thats all for now folks, just need to catchup on a couple of other threads before witching hour bed by 11.30pm thats my deadline.

Have a good day tomorrow everyone.

    TTFN footie xx :D

HI everybody, Hope you are all well! I havent even been on to read the posts in ages as been sorting things out for work! I have now started full time at the safari park, its not brilliant money but i am guarenteed 40hrs a week so i at least know how much i have coming in a month! It is actually £450 less a month than i used to earn  bu i am still with the agency so hoping to get some extra hours in there and when they have functions on i can go up to the main house to work for extra hours too.

I had to bank and use my sealed pot unfortunately after a really quiet january with hardly any work coming in :( but i would still like to count it please as if i hadnt saved it we would have been up the proverbial creek!! I have started a new tin - although only 50p in there atm lol. once i know how i am doing with bills i will start in earnest again! but i was really pleased to have had £113 in the one i opened!! my mom has been saving in a tin since early last year, she gives lifts to people at work and they give her petrol money etc well she opened hers last night and had £930 in there !!! dad says it has to go back into a new tin as she is saving for a holiday or something she really wants and its not to be wasted, bless him he said she cant spend any on him as he saves his own tin for his treats.

anyway - sorry for the long ramble, I am hoping to be back on with lots of savings again within the next month once i start getting paid! Have a good week.

  • Hi all.

Henna - I havent been on in ages either, seems to be too much on the go! I love the story about your folks, that's too cute!

Anyway, so I popped £12 in the pig last night, change from my tea out which cost much less than I thought cos they had a 241 meal deal thing so I was only just over a 5er for mine. yum!

Should have another few quid tonight aswell after I pay for DS school dinners from last month that I dint even know that he had!!

I am banking the money this week, as we have just passed payday, but I will keep the total going, and will update the total and average on my wedding goals too.

Hopefully I've added my signature right on the bottom of this :) Won't be able to post much over the next few days as I'm away visiting my parents for the week but on the upside I managed to find a money tin in a shop that can only be opened with a tin opener!! Its got a pic of £50 note on it so I thought that'd be a nice incentive, also to give me a nice start my mum has dropped a few coins into it for me :D Not sure if I'll make the £100 but anything will be a nice bonus in time for xmas, plus I look forward to getting to know you guys a bit more too :D

    Hi,

    #1292 another
60p in the pot for me.

    HI POLKA PURPURA

I thought you meant waffles with maple syrup
    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    I hope I didn't disappoint you luckycharlie.

Talking of maple syrup, I just bought some maple and pecan clusters 3 for 2. I'm sure they're healthy just not 1.5 kg in 4 or 5 days.:o

It's a while since I had bacon, eggy bread and maple syrup. I know they have a bit of a sweet tooth across the pond but that is a good recipe.

Your Target is updated to read £600, polkapurpura, all the best with it. Do what you know to be best with your debt, I can well understand that it has to go where the need's greatest. Good luck!

Thanks Sue-UU. I'll do my bestest to keep to the spirit of the challenge.
