  • afternoon all, hope everyone is well :) Woke up to a covering of snow this morning and that really lifted my little one's spirits, I'm pleased to report that she is definitely on the mend.

I popped into town earlier to try and get a Comic Relief t-shirt from TK Maxx, I left it too late last year and didn't want to resort to ebay and their crazy prices so I'm pleased to say I picked one up at rrp although I spotted no roadkill at all which was very disappointing.

I worked out that after bread and milk, veggie box etc that I have managed to save about forty quid by not doing a weekly shop last weekend so I withdrew that from the cashpoint and popped it in my box. I was a bit reluctant but I figured that I haven't spent it and if I leave it in the bank it may be swallowed up by something else and I will be really pleased come 1st December to see some notes in amongst all the shrapnel. I am going to try and see if I can repeat this every other week by planning meals in advance using stuff from our veggie box combined with stuff in the freezer and cupboards, if I can I'll be really pleased with all the savings I can make.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend xx
