Started last night with a shoebox taped up to the max with a slit cut in the top, raided jars, drawers (including OH's), pockets etc and managed to collect quite a lot, but didn't count it, want it to be a surprise in December!:j

Found 1p roadkill this morning outside Home Bargains - first in what seems like ages. Sorry Sparky - beat you to it - make the most of your weekend off - you need the rest :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Just in case anyone is interested - I know its about six weeks away - Home Bargains have Mothers Day Cards (ex M&S) for an amazing 29p. The one I bought was actually priced at £2.75 - now I will have to keep it in a safe place and remember where I put it

Hi - I was wondering if I could be added to the seemingly endless list of members? I recently found myself as a single parent attempting to bring up a 6yr old on a part time salary so I know the dreaded C/X word time of year will be especially hard I figure if I can save a few pence a week then it will all add up at the end I'd like to save £100 but to be honest I'll be happy if I've managed to save a tenner!!!!!

Just popped in to say hello to SUE-UU.
I got your kind messages from DD. I am still putting money in my "sealed pot" infact I got a new one from Santa. I didn't do so well last year, my total was way down we tend to use our cards more now rather than cash.
