I've found some copper in the bottom of the wardrobe, in the tin now thats about 5 bags of copper I've found around the house since starting this challenge.

Also found 50p in the garden whilst planting some bulbs  Should have left it and seen if it grew into the money tree my kids think I have at the bottom of the garden :rotfl:

Not bad considering I didn't think anything was going into the tin today :T

Hi snowqueen, I think you'll find there are dimensions on web sites, if you're not into metric (I'm certainly not!) google conversion tables and you can see what's what on many web sites.

decided to sit and dig the change out of my tin (with a pallet knife) and count it, there's £47.12 in there + the £1.05 I had in my purse!

i'm going to try and keep a note of what I put in :), so far total stands at £48.17 :D
  • What a rotten shame about your fence, DMB, but best to get it done properly than be worried sick every time the wind gets up. Very well done on the weight loss!!!! :jBe chuffed at what you've done and don't forget 10.000 paces per day or at least 3 times a week and you'll see those inches shrink even more!!! ;)

Thanks for the encouragement Sue, I certainly need it!

No pennies for the pot today. Planning a NSD tomorrow, so maybe something will go in on Tuesday.
  • Don't know what went wrong with my last post, the quote from Sue I included has gone all wrong.I 'm so tired & have obviously cocked it up!! Sorry folks. I am off for a snooze.

Enjoy the rest of Sunday x

Hi Palema, good to see you. 89p is good!

You've been spoiled with the yummy gravy, Footiemad, though it really helps put a delicious taste into a meal, enjoy it!
Well my brother had two of the bags so I helped lighten the third by tucking into the sausage roll she'd bought me :A

Ta for yet another good picture and giggle Decluttering. :rotfl: Good on your bro at least.

Belated Birthday greetings, kirsty and well done your lad, bless him! Hope you're having a GREAT weekend. Good to hear your brother's treated you.

paid in another £5.34 so my total now stands at £12.38. I know its not much but its money that I would have wasted previously, even if I manage to get £100 by the end of the year I will be happy

...and that's all that counts as it's us, the individual, we're doing this for - no one else! :)

    Very good, skilly!

6/2/2011 counted my money in the Jar today and bagged it ready for the bank like an old miser lol, so my total so far is £266+the £50 from YouGov waiting for the cheque to clear, that will take me to £316. Since I started doing a menu to cover 2 weeks and then shopping accordingly (and believe me I am eating well) I am finding I have more spare cash to put into the Jar I am a happy chappy and a happy shopper and a happy saver.
Low Carb High Fat is the way forward I lost 80 lbs
