Afternoon all, not been around for awhile, finally managed to get this flu sorted but still feel tired.
I've still been putting change in my tin and also had a bit of a brain wave, when I've been shopping I put in the money I've saved on multisaves at the bottom of the till receipt. Sometimes its only pennies, but had a few £'s aswell. The tin is feeling nice and heavy now;)2011 Sealed Pot Challenge #1238 hoping for £250 ~ saved £743.32

Evening all
I am banjaxxed from all my pavement pounding today. A brisk uphill 30 minute walk from bus station this a. to work,, a good walk at lunch time to Aldi for a few bits of veg, then the walk back to bus station after work. If I haven't lost a couple of pounds (in weight!) by the end of the month I shall want to know why!
Bought my 10 journey bus ticket today for £18, my £2 change has hit the pot this evening.
Enjoy your evening folks

Hi, I had a lull in saving this week, tried not to shop and didnt have any £2 coins in my change but was given one today and a load of £1 coins, have put aside next weeks bus fare for ds1 and the remaining £4 went into my pot (after I had dusted it off a bit !!) My fab total is £50!!! SHHHHH dont tell oh he will have that for something,,its the first savings we have ever saved (even if he doesnt know!) I am very happy to have put it aside, I cant believe it! Am so looking forward to the coming months whatever I manage to save for our little family!!
Good luck all ;-)Life happens when you are busy making other plans
