  • Hi guys,

77p today, including 1p on the floor on my way home. Normally I *gulp* walk past when I see coins on the floor. Not any longer!!!

Change may be more scarce than it used to be...joining the work lunch challenge is counter productive for this one since I am no longer spending and getting change for this one! It's all good though, as long as I have more money than usual in the bank at the end of the month, I don't really mind!!

    Good morning.
Me & the DH have just had words. He wanted me to open my "sealed pot" (Celebrations tin) so he could have £5 worth of 50p's he'd donated to pay for the car parking in York & Hull. In fairness he did say he'd give me the money back but that is not the point - once the pot was opened it would be so easy to open it again & again and anyway hasn't he seen how much Sellotape I have used to seal the pot. I told him I couldn't as we were only 25 days in to the year and the pot was not to be opened before December!
