Oops I posted on the virtual pot challenge by mistake then I tried to post here and the internet cut out on me!
Seven pounds in the pot on Friday but that will probably be it for a while as my change will be going on girlies dinner money.
Third time lucky!:rotfl:Here dead we lie because we did not choose
To live and shame the land from which we sprung.
Life, to be sure, is nothing much to lose,
But young men think it is,
And we were young.

Can I join in this year please? I know I'm a little late in starting but its never too late to save, so here I am.

FYI - temerity means boldness or audacity.
Evening sparky, you're right - he will, we'll make darn sure of that. Incidentally, I truthfully know what temerity means, it just seemed to fit in a little with what we'd talked about...or was that me maybe.Good luck with the tax bill, though it sounds as though you've worked if off. What a difference eh!
Well done on the cheque, Bebs! :j
Sounds as though you should be relaxing more, rubytuesday!
Shopping that had to be done today. Still, it gave us another £4.39 to put in the pot, so can't be so bad.

have just potted 5.12, my hubby had dropped all his loose change onto the bedside drawers and I had warned him that any loose change will be re-distributed so it's now nestled all nicely in my little sealed pot
I've taken packed lunch everyday so far this month so I'm hoping once payday finally arrives (this is the longest month ever !!!) to give my little pot something of a bonus although I've got my car to service and mot on Friday which I'm hoping won't be too expensive.Sealed Pot Challenge Member 1273VSP 2011 Member 92 - 723.070
