  • Hi All, missed loads of pages as been busy working and painting the hall! Hope eveyone is ok.
I have put some coins aside this week to put in my tin BUt note to self for next week I must put them straight in the tin otherwise I end up spending and giving them to the kids. Managed to keep £6 to add to tin, mixture of coins but am so glad I am still adding! I have started to think about whether I want this for xmas or for a holiday or towards my new kitchen the old one is falling down around me! Need to pay credit card off before a new kitchen ;-)
    Have a lovely weekend all

My sealed pot ended up being completely full today after I added £2 odd so I had to count some of it up in order to change it up to make space. Changed up £60 or so which has given me enough space to keep saving :D £155.19 in there currently which is amazing!

Bit annoyed as made some sweet parcels with left over mincemeat and filo pastry for the adults tomorrow, asked hubby to taste them to see if they were nice (never made them before) and he's eaten them all!!  He did say there were really nice though, not sure thats compensation enough though :o

Not doing too well on sealed pot challenge at moment - but doing well on NSD, which obviously limits the amount of change I get.

I didn't think I would be putting loads in at the beginning of the year as my work is seasonal - so hopefully from Easter onwards will be able to increase amount significantly.

Until then will just plod away with the odd £1/50p

    Hi everyone

Just a few bits of shrapnel again for me, although might be able to sneak one (or two) of DH's pound coins that are currently sitting on the kitchen table - he'll never know! ;)

    Evening All :)

Hope you are all ok, for those that feel poorly, hope you feel better soon.

£1.33 added to the pot today.

Really looking forward to spending the weekend with my OH (been together 8 months tomorrow :D) we are going shopping for house stuff this weekend, less than 3 weeks till we move, yay!

Melvis - Is it Newvistaresearch you use?

    Have a good weekend all.

Yes ... this is the link https://www.newvistalive.com/portal

they're very good ... surveys are between £1 & £5 each (roughly £1 per 5 minutes spent on the survey) and although it takes a while to make £50 it's a nice healthy amount to work towards xx
