Hello Sue-UU
Thanks for starting another Sealed pot challenge - I couldnt believe how many of us are trying to do this!!!
I had to stop before the end so last year's total was very poor so I am going to stick with my £150 target from last year (already against my name!) and see if I cant have some money for the sales!!
good luck to everyone - I dont post very often but will be thinking of all the tins getting heavier and heavier all over the country.
toots xxPeace will be mine
could do better - must try harder

Ah, she'll catch up with you one of these days. Summat tells me we've a right one here!
No Sue-UU, she tells me I've got to sleep sometime :rotfl:, I'm not sure what she means by that though
.....
Anyway, i'm adding the grand total of 95p today, plucked from obscurity and thrust into the limelight, known as my sealed pot :T.
Getting my eagle eyes on for tomorrow, look out coins here I come....good luck for tomorrow everyone

Looks like the darn snow is trying to come back here!
Good to see so many newcomers still wanting to join the gang Sue are you sure you're not bribing people to join?
I reckon the newcomers are all coming to see The Temple :rotfl:
It's trying to snow here too Sparks, and it's soooooo cold!i've just found a bag of 2ps in the bureau so am trying to decide whether to pop it in my pot as is or take it to the bank and get it changed for a shiny £1 coin first . Im going to be in alot of trouble though as I have put my pot money in while Miss Lily is at nursery so she has no pennies to clunk
Hi jakes-mum, in that case I'd keep the bag of 2ps somewhere safe so that if you have a dry day you've always got something to give Miss Lily.Massive 36p for me today - including the 10p I claimed back in shop for them giving me the wrong change today
Hi kochi1,
I think I must have been given too much change in a shop cos I've got $4.15 more in my purse than I should have. Considering I had absolutley no change earlier ( cos I put it all in my pot on NYE
) I've now got too much change and my receipts don't add up. It's a good day but I'm so confused.
I'll keep it to one side in case I have a light-bulb moment :rotfl:
In the meantime $2.85 in the pot for me today.

:hello: to all the new peeps joining us - its a great thread to be on

£2.60 change for me today, first for a while as I havent been anywhere to spend.
Back to Pre-school tomorrow for DS2 (much to DS1's delight as he has another day off). I love the holidays and having them around. DS1 and DD are going to their Dads for the weekend this week and I am dreading how quiet it will be. DS2 isnt going because ex-DH 'isnt set-up to deal with his needs' apparently :mad::mad:.Moving on up

Hi, I would like to join please :-)
Already have a pot going and have done this for years but always end up breaking in to the pot after a couple of month so hopefully this will give me the motivation to keep it sealed!
Also do people like to keep a running total of how much they have dropped in the pot or save it for a supprise at the end of the year.0 -
One golden clunk for me today ... I just love this challenge

Had another NSD today (Well, I had lunch bought by my boss but couldn't ask for her change lol!) so no money in the pot. I'm going out for cream tea with my best friend (And bridesmaid!) at my wedding venue on Thursday as we haven't seen each other in months. All my loose change will go in the pot afterwards. I'm also doing overtime on Friday so will get paid cash, at least a £5 note will go in the pot.
Have been looking at honeymoons today (Thats what my hopefully full pot will pay for!).2010 Competition Wins - Swarovski Crystal Earrings, Handmade Greeting Card, £500 Jewellery Voucher.
