A quick 2 seconds scrawming around on the bedroom floor has given me another 61p today0

Am loving the references to 'roadkill' :rotfl: I've never heard it called that before. I often find coins on the road when I am running and I always stop to pick it up. My DS is horrified by this but I am quite happy to do it. Every penny of roadkill I pick up is one less that I have to earn!
my poor DS has learnt to pick up roadkill! Sometimes when we are out, he just comes over with 1p or 2p, no idea where he has found it! but he knows Mummy collects money found on the pavement, shopfloor, etc, etc...... so he helps too
we were at a friend's house, and there was loose change on the table, he kept going in the kitchen, to the table, and bringing it to me!
I took the money from him, but gave it to my friend, in front of DS, explaining it was not our money, and that he shouldn't be picking it up.0 -

Sorry ladies, but that sort of gain can only be referred to as stealing!
Please don't do it, you'll get your children into all sorts of trouble when they're older! It's unfair to encourage any child to do such things. That is NOT what this challenge is about.

VALM, have a look on the Cooking Oldstyle or whatever it's called, if not do your best anyway and Mae yourself feel good.
aureol212, good luck with your name change.
Hiya Kerfuffle, I don't know how I missed you I'm sure. Good to see you though. Personally, I reckon the HM one is a little less nice then your thoughts, though I hope it's not. ,but.........
Oh, very well done, sweet, don't let him think you're not still rattled by his money on floor issues or he'll be saving it himself..
I agree with Kerfuffle about the quoting Megadebtor, but would also add to anyone that leaving ONLY the relevant text in the quoted speech is much better than quoting an entire post which often detracts from what a person's wishing to highlight.
You'll get there, Footiemad, just take care with your money.
Good to see you back, Fiasco55.
Bad luck, FF, but at least you got something out of it.
Go with the clucks, Lula, more interesting at least.
How about getting your DD one for Birthday, Mama_G....it would encourage her with saving.
Your DH is a treasure, Traymos.
What you call a double wammy for certain, chickadee, the tin milk-churn sounds ideal.
Brilliant, sherry24, keep that determination up and you'll do so well!!!

DS (3yr old) will happily pick coins off the floor and stow them in his pocket - only to be recovered out the washing machine by me
A favourite of mine is the tables in the canteen at work! People always seem to leave change on the tables, so I always sit on a table with pennies onAnd if there's no one else around, I'll do a circuit then check the vending machines too
