A very warm welcome to mumslave, and chickadee. It's a pleasure to have you all with us! Have fun saving. :D You'll find your numbers at the bottom of the list on post 3 of page 1. Please read through posts 1 & 2 as it'll let you know exactly what to do with the challenge. NB. Please pop your number on your sig, it helps so very much. NB. Pots are emptied on 1st December 2011, thank you.

chickadee, you could easily have chucked your £7 into your new pot, IF you'd wanted to.

I wondered where you'd got to, Kerfuffle, good to see you.

emiliah, a couple of pounds is still something to be pleased with, you'd possibly have spent it before starting your pot, so be proud. A Very Happy New Year to you also. _party_

If your pot fills up through the year, do you all just go and get another pot?

No, esmer, never worth it, unless you want to. You could put it in the bank/building society/post office. All I'd ask is that you let us know, then pop the amount taken out onto your sig.

Hiya sparky, well done on your MS! A Very Happy New Year to you as well. _party_

    Good for you, Traymos.

Well done on your savings, heretolearn, and VERY well done on NOT buying the chocolate!! :T Yes, this can be a slimming board too, quitting cigs board for many 'n all!!! Your target has now been updated, or at least I take it you meant me to do so?

Well done on the savings, fishcakes and all the best with the cardigan, though how sad you must have felt that it didn't fit you! No way you could alter it (take it in)? If not then good luck with selling it. Have a Very Happy New Year and a lovely party! _party_

Hi GBN, I was so terribly sad to read about your little sweetheart...so very, very young and tragic. It's no wonder you still find it upsetting, though I don't think we ever get over them fully..they're too human-like. One of ours was mauled terribly by an Alsation 25 years ago, it still hurts terribly, she was a darling and our first. I'm still really sad about our Son's, he was an adorable little darling, a Heinz 57 type, but so beautiful and a lovely manner. The only one I don't feel to bad about is our last one who had to be PTS in August, she was 15 and very arthritic, you would never have wished her to go on - a very long time though. I've known 2 Vets that really cared, the others were/are just in it for the money!!!! Take heart GBN. :kisses3:

sazsimpson, your most welcome. I love the surprise element of it all, it also encourages you to save harder! ;)

Have a good day all, and please go steady and keep safe whatever you do.

    Sue x

Nothing for me today. :( I've still got the same £15 in my purse (notes) that I had on the 23rd when I got home from my parents. Haven't spent a penny in 8 days other than the food shopping on debit yesterday! And I've now rinsed OH's change fund too!
