Found 1p in my purse. I haven't bought anything today though so it must have been hiding in the lining!

I'm not planning on going to the shops for anything tomorrow apart from essentials (Milk and bread) so will also put the £5 in coins in my purse in the tin :A

You're most welcome to join us, deq123, poohspals and mrsmoneymiser. It's a pleasure to have you with us! A warm welcome aboard and have fun saving. :D You'll find your numbers at the bottom of the list on post 3 of page 1. Please read through posts 1 & 2 as it'll let you know exactly what to do with the challenge. NB. Please pop your number on your sig, it helps so very much. NB. Pots are emptied on 1st December 2011, thank you.

poohspals & mrsmoneymiser, keep coming to the board regularly, it'll keep you motivated, we'll make sure of it.

weeclick - you're already a member (No 1181), but have obviously got us mixed up with another thread. You haven't put your No on your signature yet.

You're right DFSD, every little bit helps, and when December 1st comes, it's far better to have all those little bits you've saved than for you to have spent them and saved nothing....because they were only little bits! I hope that makes sense You'll be amazed how much you'll see when you count it all up - so long as you keep on saving the little and the larger amounts now!

Thanks for pointing out the 1st December thing. I was very lazy and did not read the post at the beginning (it was a very long post).

Oh, I'm sorry iwantahome, I'll shorten it just for you! Cheeky beggar! Good luck in converting your family members, it really would help if they took note.

    Very good, heretolearn! Keep searching.

Fingersxed, it's wonderful to hear just how excited you are about saving, great news! Keep at it always, you'll be so thrilled you did.

Hi there Ruby E, what an explosion we've had!! Good to see you and know you've been stashing the cash. You do whatever you're happy with re the monthly part. For now, just enjoy relaxing, you deserve it.

3p is good, ALJA! It all adds up.

Your DH knows how much you'll all benefit, VintageBrat, he's a good 'un! :D

Excellent Dreamer, so much so soon!

You're planning it well, KrazyKel, good thinking. ;)

oooooh, you do surprise me, frasersmum, well, something to really be saving hard for. Good for you! :j

VERY well done, Footiemad!!! It might have been a lengthy update, but it was necessary for that lot! Keep going like that and there'll be free drinks for all us SPCers come December!!!! :j Or not...;)

Well done, blondy24 (love the sound of your tin) and esmer.

It's still not sealed, Sarah?? Best look sharp then.

Flippin' eck, Traymos, that was QUICK!!! A good idea to have the 2nd one.

Have a good night's sleep everyone - get ready for more hunting tom orrow!

  • NSD for me today so nothing into tin! tgried o save some cash by getting the dog some drops from the pet shop for her ears but it has gotten worse so think it will def have to be a trip to the vets, the bottle does say to give it a week to work but she has allergies and that just makes everything worse! thats why she gets the ear infections anyway! you would think by now the vets would just let us collect and pay for the drops but oh no - we have to have the consultation too just for them to say she has an ear infection! grr, cant get her covered with insurance as she has had the allergies from about 12wks old, they refused to pay out as it was an 'ongoing' medical problem! sorry, for the completely O/T ramble!

Sorry to hear about that, henna, and for the former part I can quite understand your annoyance as it just bumps up their fee every time. If you find a good Vet....shoot it before it goes bad! No, no..I didn't say that...I wrote it that's all. :o

The latter is true though as Insurers won't take on any animals with on-going illneses/allergies. Would it be cheaper to have her on anti histamines or not possible? I've no idea where our hairy friends are concerned.

Don't worry though as it does us all good to rant about the things that bug us, and Vets are NOT my best topic, they took my poor lad for a £3000 ride for his dear dog to die 2 weeks later and they must have seen it on the x-ray he paid for anyway. Enough!

Wonderful news, weeclick, never mind about the problem..they're easily solved!
Can't keep up with all these challenges!

    Me either, Dreamer!!!

Onto more good news everyone! salnew declared her Total amount she saved for "SPC 3" earlier and that is an excellent £240!!! Very well done, salnew!!! :T:T

The new Grand Total for "SPC 3" is £37,357.47!!!!
