I (half) made a papier mache savings pot today.
It's going to be a traditional piggy bank, used a balloon, egg carton for feet and snout and made a whole heap of mess!
My lad was helping out with his messy play shirt on and even he said, "Mummy wont be happy".
anyways, halfway up and it's taking a while to dry, sat in front of a rad in the room.
My first deposit will be the £1.00 I saved from not buying a sealed tin from poundworldSealed pot challange no: 3390 -

I had a lot of change yesterday in £2 coins, and I ummed and I ahhed, and then I ummed and I ahhed againg. Then I took them all out of my purse and left them on the coffee table overnight and when I got up this morning, I thought about it, then went "oh s*d it" and threw them all in my pot. But they did go in my unseal £2 tin so that's now up to £22.
I found a penny in the entrance of Asda today, so stopped in front of all those Christmas shoppers, bent down, took off my gloves and picked it up.
And my son had asked me to buy him something which cost £2. I came home, collected what he owed me, and then put £1 in each of the boy's sealed tin christmas presents.0 -

Finished the crimbo shopping today, paid cash for everything to resist the "plastic temptation" and stuck within my limit with a pocketfull of change to spare! (approx £9 :j)
A year ago Id have wasted that change on fags and vending machine snacks. NOT TODAY my friends!!! Straight into the pot it went with a clunk. Hooray for me.
Keep up the good work folks!!!
