Accidents happen - that's life. You bought the matter to the attention of the hotel, ok so perhaps they weren't as apologetic as they could have been but we weren't witness to the manner in which you bought this to their attention. Hopefully they have dealt with it and no one else catches their foot/tights/bed socks etc etc but can't you just let the matter go now?

I'm all for making a point and complaining where it's warranted, but draw the line and move on, chances are you will never stay there again anyway.

So, switching on a light would have people immediately seeing a small screw sticking out at the base of a bed? Don't be silly.

When you stay in a hotel room you expect it to be free of defects such as that, I know my own room is, and I only have a duty of care to myself!

And a cut on the foot is bound to hurt, as you bloody walk on it! I'd expect some money off my bill at least.
There's a storm coming, Mr Johnson. You and your friends better batten down the hatches, because when it hits, you're all gonna wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us.

I wasnt looking to injure myself.

Whyever not? When I go to hotels, my first action is a wander round looking for ways to injure myself. Surely everyone does that. :rotfl:
