EDF are stopping the nectar points at the end of this year.:(0 -
Help!,
I switched to EDF online 7 on the 29th and it hasn't tracked even though the average is 1 day. I need the cash to offset the penalty fee I would have to pay S.P. Has anyone got any experience on how long it takes to track please?
I switched on the 1st december , i too have nothing tracking inmy quidco account !!
All i got from EDF when i signed up via quidco, was a email saying thankyou and you will receive a letter soon, no ref number nothing ???
Quidco care told me wheni get the letter and there is a ref number I can raise a missing claim !!
Only other thing i can think is that there is a 7 day cooling off period , maybe after this and there is no risk your leaving quidco will track,0 -
I Signed up to the EDF Online S@ver Version 7 on 22nd November via TopCashback. I received the email from "supplyenquires@edfenergypartners.co.uk" almost instantly.....
The thing that is concerning me is the first line of the first paragraph reads "In the next few days, you'll receive a letter with everything you need to know about your new account, including a copy of your contract". My email had no reference number or account number either.
It is exactly two weeks to the day and I haven't received this letter. I phoned EDF and asked and they couldn't confirm they had my application - although my EDF transaction has tracked okay and is currently at 'pending' status with my TCB account.
As my email was from 'edfenergypartner' am I right in thinking this will be handled by a sub-contracted company and therefore there is nothing to worry about???
Anyone had similair experiences are using TCB - or anyone able to put my concerns to bed please advise,

yes i had the exact same email from them too , again almost instant , i called EDF 3 days alter , and again no sign of my application on their systems !!
Also as my Quidco didnt track , i need my EDF contract number to start a missing claim that apparently could take 80 days just to verify !!
GREAT !! !

This is a bolt from the blue. Where did you get this info from? Is it true. I love my nectar points and always go where I can get (petrol mainly) some and my energy usage was a good way to save as well. Being so broke I used them to pay for groceries at Sainsburies and thank god for that!! Does anyone else know about this?PollyBanwell wrote: »We switched to EDF for Southern in MArch/April. If you Google EDF Nectar you will get a link to a Nectar page with this message:
As of 31 December 2010, EDF Energy will no longer be part of the Nectar programme0 -
Once the £80 shows in your Quidco account, how do you actually get the cash? How long after requesting the switch till the £80 shows?
Takes a day to track and when payment is due to you it is paid by BACS to your bank account.
Make sure you use the 'Get Cashback' instead of 'Get Offer' when using Quidco as there is a tracking problem with Quidco when using 'Get Offer' button link.
Use Top Cash Back if you want to avoid the £5 per year Quidco sub.0 -
Very easy to switch. I switched, filled in the online form, hit send, then did nothing else until I had my letters asking for the readings. It was very easy and I was kept in the loop with dates of when the changes would happen etc.
Cashback on the other hand... well I had to open a ticket on QuidCo for EDF as it never tracked but hopefully it'll come back OK and I will get the £80 on top of the £100 welcome bonus. (You're getting £80 for free, pay QuidCo the £5 - I'm up to £240+ now on QuidCo so £5 annual "fee" is worth it if it'll stop them going bust like some others have).Rich0 -
Thanks for that dave. I have to say I am gutted but then nothing ever lasts for ever does it. I just wish I had been informed by EDF personally.....davecampbell wrote: »If you Google EDF Nectar you will get a link to a Nectar page with this message:
