You need someone with the same phone. Get them to go through the steps to set the language and you do the same i.e. arrow down, arrow left etc etc.

Used to procide hours of fun in the pub when people left their phone on the bar, changing the language into something obscure.

Don't have that phone but from the online manual....
    To change the phone language
1 From the Home screen, tap the applications bar.
2 Tap Settings > Locale & text > Select locale.
    3 Select an option.
If you choose the wrong language and cannot read the menu texts, go to

Once put my SatNav into Spanish for a laugh. Didn't realise the menus had also switched to Spanish until I tried to put it back into English!

Thanks all for the help....Victor2 I couldn't follow those instructions because the languabe change meant I couldn't even find those things...eeeek!!

What I did was take a quick run into the phone shop and they used another phone the same as you advised spiro and from there they had me back to english in no time!

Thanks everyone, for taking the time and trouble to help x
