BT Direct Debit Monthly Payments Have Shot Up

I have Sky HD so would it be better to get Sky's broadband and calls for £7.99 a month?
That is E& W calls only and does not include the line rental of course. That price only applies if Sky is LLU'd on your exchange, otherwise you will pay £17 for the dire Sky Connect service.
Do an exchange search on www.samknows.com to see what your LLU options are. But bear in mind that if you do switch to Sky LLU, you will then have to take your line rental back to BT first (on a 12m contract) before you can switch to any other ISP in the future. No free lunch, and no free laptop
