Virtual Sealed Pot Challenge 2011

I've got to agree with the earlier posts, this thread is changing the way I manage my money and it's great. I've just had a few sales on ebay which amounted to 65.00 so I've arranged to transfer that to my vsp bringing my new total to 340.78 :j I'm so pleased, I've had a helping hand due to selling an old phone and getting some backpay at work but ordinarily I would have just let that cash be swallowed up in my bank account and would have nothing to show for it.
Well done daisygogo :T Your doing so well. I know what you mean about saving, mine have only been small amounts so far, but I will keep tranferring. It doesn't matter how you get there as long as the savings grow.
I have managed save more than I have done in a very long time and this thread is making me think of ways to increase my savings all the time.
I have yet to sort out my bits and bobs for ebay, I need to pull my finger out and get the money in my e-account. Will make that go on my list of things to do by end of Feb.:D:D
Hello and welcome to the new vspers. Its never too late as I now know. Happy saving.:beer:Footiemad:footie: 2013 - SPC no.1147...Keeep potting!!

Evening all,
Can I ask that everyone PLEASE add their Challenge number to their signature or at least in your post of weekly savings - There are now quite alot of members to this thread and I am finding it harder to find the people, to update post 1 totals, who do not have their numbers visible.
Thanks

I'm working on Saturday - fancy coffee at our local shopping emporium?0 -
Thank you for adding me to the front page:D
To get me rolling I had an online savings account with a very small amount (£1.15) languishing there on it's own and have renamed this VSP, before it was Bills Reserve which just sounded a bit dull and I wasn't even using it for that anyway.
Although I will usually aim to do this on a Saturday night, I have had a review of all my bank and saving accounts and moved the rounding downs to VSP (nearly included the Joint Account too by mistake, but realised just in time - I don't think OH would be too happy with me siphoning Joint funds into a Sole name Savings acc!!;))
So now my VSP stands at £43.83 for no110Debt Free since Nov 11 (ish) (except the £118000 mortgage) as at Jan 2013 but still hanging around DFW as I need to Stay On Track.
