Hello Palema,
Unfortunately, based on my name alone of wonga.com and not my activity I was barred from the site and given no way of proving myself. I sent an email trying to resolve the issue but was sent around from one email address to another with the final one giving no response. Sadly, I now feel this site is too cliquey and unfriendly to be a member of! Such a shame when the administrators panic blindly and exclude innocent members of the public but then take it on themselves to inform the whole site that I was removed for spamming - especially when there was absolutely no onerous activity from me, and never would have been!
So there's no need to add me to any list, but thank you for giving me the benefit of the doubt in any case!flying_fresian wrote: »I wouldn't say we're unfriendly at all! The Debt-Free boards are one of the best
The sad thing is that having your username as that of a well-known loan company will mean it's hard for folk to believe you're not affiliated to them. Let us get to know you using your new user name, we're not bad folk, honest
Welcome back!EssexHebridean wrote: »Considering Martin's well known stance on the subject of these "payday loans" type companies, it seems a strange choice for a username in any case?! Unusual too for site admins to bar people just based on a username - that generally only happens when users have made complaints either about someone's conduct, or spamming etc. Glad to see you've re-joined anyway - I'm sure you'll soon realise that the DFW board in particular is far from Cliquey and unfriendly - it's often been described as the friendliest place on the boards so stick around and I'm sure you'll get plenty out of it!
Hi Hmmmmmmm
I'm sorry you feel that way about this amazing site.
As FF and EH have both said the reason the admin probably barred you was due to the username, there has been alot of spammers and trolls using similar type names over the years
I do hope you change your mind and give this site a chance as it is fantastic and a wealth of advice and support - If you do change your mind please come back here and I will add you to our little challenge.

Hi all
Great savings by everyone. Another small amount for me this week but a little more than last week £1.82 transferred today
Hopefully the transfers will get bigger as time passes. The one good thing is that I can only cash out once before I start to lose interest so that will stop me from dipping in.but I have no intention of doing that.
Hmmmmmmm I echo what the others have said. Its a great site with lots of encouragement and MSE and its users are just looking out for everyone as they come on here for help and they have to be sure. Come on join in you will love and get a high from saving and get all the help and advice and support you need should you want it.
Have a good weekend everyone. I look forward to coming on here and letting you know that I have managed to put something aside, its all the encouragment I need.
Will change my total tout suite.

£8.16 for #93 today, bringing me up to £20.06! Not as spectacular as some, but I'm sticking with it, and it's £20.06 I wouldn't have saved another way! Still sticking with the regulas Sealed pot challenge, too, so it's all positive
Well done savers, we're doing OK!!

Haidenmaiden - you're so right. I wouldn't have saved £20 in a month, yet somehow I have managed it too. Sounds daft but just coming on here every week and putting it down is helping. Its like when I was a WW and had to be weighed, having someone else to "tell" helps massively.
This week I have transferred £4.97 (I think) taking my target to £25.63 (one again, I think)
Happy Saturday everyone. I am going to see if I lost any roof tiles in the gales last night. How long til pay day?
