I would like to join too please :j I have a savings account that I don't really use so will make it my Virtual pot :j
EDIT! I have just been on-line and transfered £1.60 from one account and £1.83 from another and £8.49 from our joint account. Added to the £12 that was in the account already and I now have £23.92 in my virtual pot. woo hoo !!
Can I ask a question though ? Previously when trying to money save, I decided that I would round up receipts to the nearest pound and transfer the difference / pay the difference into a money box, so I spent £12.93 in the pub on Wednesday, can I transfer the seven pence into my virtual pot ? similarly if I spend £40.01 pence in the supermarket tomorrow, I would transfer 99 pence into the pot ?0 -

Hi Flat Eric
Welcome aboard - You can transfer what ever you wish and really whatever day suits so if it means you transfer several times a week that is fine. Just post on the thread and I will add it to the totals on page 1.

I'm continuing on from last year at the moment BUT I had a little accident with my iPod and washed it in my jacket pocket :eek: So will have to use some of my VSP as part payment
That's what it's there for really for me - an emergency fund for little emergencies like that, although drowning my iPod was not intentional. In 2010 I managed to pay for a new TV when my TV died a death.

I ended up spending a lot less than I thought in Glasgow today, so I have been very good and added another £10 into my VSP this evening0
