  • Urgh, OH has just informed me that our two rear tyres will not pass an MOT (car due in next week) and that the cheapest way to sort it is to buy the tyres ourselves and have the garage fit them and just charge us the labour. So not happy as I've just had to clear out £120 from my savings to pay for them :( So I'm down to £4.
I've also got an expensive month ahead of me, as we've just arranged to move our horses to another farm, as the one we're currently at is not accessible for my mobility problems (despite having been promised the closest field, they were moved a week after we moved in to another field much further away so I've spent the last five weeks having to rely on friends and family to check them for me) and the current farmer has just insisted that we have to give him a month's notice (no contract, so I'm more than a bit peeved, as previous places have accepted a couple of weeks notice and for us to pay up to the day we've left) and the new guy has asked for payment upfront on the day we arrive, so I'm going to end up paying twice for September :(
Why do all the expensive things seem to happen all at once?

Anyway, hopefully will have a few more £s to put back in my savings once car and horses are sorted out.

Still to pay: £250 /£950 - Lloyds TSB overdraft (although with interest and charges, I've already paid £1,675!)
