    Can I join, too? I've been doing something similar to this to save for my upcoming wedding, but instead of once a week, I'm moving money around every couple of days. Since I started three weeks ago, I've saved £124 and haven't really missed it at all (helps that I've completely changed how I shop, from daily impulse purchases in Tesco, to fortnightly online shop with Asda - saved almost £80 since I started this on 29th July!
    Original debts: £14,250
    Still to pay: £250 /£950 - Lloyds TSB overdraft (although with interest and charges, I've already paid £1,675!)

    VSP#150 - £68.25

    VSP #149 - Just withdrew £51.99 to help a woman in Benin fund her company - I'll have it back by March 2012. So my total is now £19.01 but will be re-funded by March!

    I did this on www.lendwithcare.org - figured it was better helping someone than earning miniscule interest in my account!
