Put a bit extra in my pot today - offered to treat mum and dad to a meal at the local carvery but when it came to paying, my dad wouldn't let me. We had a mini argument, but he's bigger than me :p So I've moved £20 over to my VSP (total now £31.36) as I was expecting to have spent it. Woohoo!

On the downside, my kitchen drawer has fallen to pieces in my hand leading me to examine the rest of the units, and it looks as though I may have to start seriously thinking of updating my very old kitchen. It'll be great to have a new kitchen, but all those pennies!!

I might have to offer to take mum and dad out more often !! :rotfl:

  • Sifted £8.67 today, making total so far £12.67

I now have £31.50 in my virtual pot :j.

Sadly, I think I won't be able to do a transfer now until after January because I have so much going out this week that I am going to be overdrawn and I guess there is little point in being more overdrawn that I need to be.

As I am doing both sealed pot and virtual pot, I should have a nice little sum come next December. I have already been tempted to transfer virtual pot monies out but I am determined to leave them well alone and see it grow and grow instead !

    Hi Lola
    Welcome aboard
I have added you to our list on page 1
I use a savings account not attached to my bank account that way I am not tempted to dip into it at all!!

    Good luck from January
