I got a nec e228,£32 from argos.
with 100 mins credit,camera mp3,email etc
couldn't find E616 online, couldn't get to the shops.

Nec 338 is £65 at kays, with 20% off if you are a first time buyer and 40 weeks interest free credit. I just bought one, I will put my Nokia 7600 on ebay. I presume there is no problem putting a 3 contract sim into a 3 pay as you go phone. Good phone for £52, and the Nokia 7600 will go for about £70 on ebay.

Good man! Thanks for the tip - just ordered one.

As for ebay, you are right the average price for the 7600 is around £70 now but they were selling for around £100 at xmas.

As for the difference, I have had both the 7600 and the NEC 338 and although the Nokia looks odd, it is a superior phone in every sense.

The NEC lacks many basic features and is harder to use Having said that, its probably the only decent looking 3 phone out at the moment...

I can put up with friends taking the mickey out of it when it's under £16 for year. (CPW could be in for a shock when they get a Motorola Flare for the cashback!).

Also, the Nokia has both Bluetooth and infra red - the NEC has neither which is really bad considering its such a new phone.
