I find it much easier to use the cards as they said they had been told that these were no longer acceptable. I now use a different and much more friendly PO. Has anyone else come across this problem?
LOL, I was told by my PO that they only issued printed PoDs for parcels and card ones had to be used for first class...! So long as we're clear about that!

Im afraid just a receipt for proof of postage doesnt count at all with ebay. The only proof of postage that counts is the recorded delivery slips believe me I have lived by my own mistakes and learnt alot. Thats why now I send everything by first class recorded delivery when posting ebay items.
Thanks Eve0 -
it costs about 68p for recorded signature..
pennies really.. I send no goods not recorded delivery =======================

OP doesn't want proof for ebay, OP want's proof in case of needing to claim at PO. Nothing was said about proving DELIVERY, only posting.
Which was answered straight away. It's BOUGHT (to Buy), not BROUGHT (to bring) AND you cannot be frauded, only DEfrauded.
Please do not buy animals from a pet store. Visit your local sanctuary or centre and give a good home to an unloved or abandoned animal.0 -
I picked up a load of CoP cards from my sorting office, I fill them out at home then the PO stamp them with no problems, so these must still be accepted. Also if you print your postage online it can also print out a CoP on A4 which is almost the same as the cards. When I get a receipt I can write my own Postcodes at home which means I could write any postcode on not necessary the ones I've just posted0
