Sorry not been monitoring since I posted. Found myself unable to connect to internet where I was today.

450 in Twickers aint that bad - you are right and, no, rent has been paid but she flagged how urgent her salary was as if she paid a day late would cost her 30 quid which I thought was an unreasonable clause in the contract.
Why did she sign? Like most people ignorant of her rights.

I reckon a lot of unreasonable things are done simply because they are written in the contract, signed by someone who is unaware of legislation and rights and usually unchallenged if the penalty is activated - for the same reason - lack of knowledge.

Thanks again everyone. I advised her not to rock the boat unless something goes wrong and she is charged this fee in which case - challenge it!!
