how do i check my vodafone minutes
ive just got my first vodafone contract phone, im on the £10 a month plan. what i want to know is how do i find how much credit i have left. i think there is a facility where i put in a 5 digit number and i get a txt back, also is there a way to know how much usage i have left using the broadband feature, im not sure but i think i have a 45mg usage per month.

You can dial this number on Vodafone - it's free. You'll get a text back with your current usage.
Calling 44555 – select option 1 – select option 1
Data is a bit of a problem on Voda, as it's always way behind. I would recommend joining their forum, as there is lots of useful (and useless!) info contained on there.

Once you have received your first bill, you can check your unbilled usage from your online account.
Recent calls can sometimes be up to 48 hours behind, but if you keep a watch on the call counters on your handset, you should be able to keep a check on your usage.0 -
Vodafone are the worst when it comes to letting you know your usage and or any remaining allowances, i can't belive any network operator in this day and age can take so long to update you.
I think vodafone are progressing backwards in some area's, their forums are littered with posts about poor signal etc... yet they were the best once upon a time.0 -
my voda was a whole week behind recently when I rang 191 to check. Hopeless. Keep on complaining as maybe one day they will actually be able to track your calls/texts within a 24 hour period!0

I am not sure if its on all handsets, but when I dial 191, it directs me to an on screen interface where I can see my minutes and data useage for the month (subject to the usual few days delay of course).Signaller, author, father, carer.0

ive just dialled 191 and used option 1 to check my credit. ive had my phone 3 days and had to use it a good few times but my txt that has been sent back is telling me i still have full use, ive used no txtx or call minutes so non have been stored yet. thats great i could be using my phone over minutes now and getting a bill for it. why cant things be simple. it makes you think this is a deliberate ploy by vodafone so folks will go over their minutes and receive a bigger bill. All the big powers they've silenced me. No doubt that is what it is, after all Vodafone are able to instantly update pay go records and display you with a correct balance instantly.
But pay monthly takes days. Hmmm i smell a rat lol0 -
Hi Silkyuk9,
As Tony5101 said, if you dial 44555 on your handset you will then receive a text telling you how many minutes and texts you have used already for that month. If you are signed up for online billing you can log onto My Account and it will also show you in the section for Unbilled Calls.
If you are not already signed up for online billing you can do so here .
Thanks,
Heidi
