Does anyone know the best place to get kids jeans from? I need a pair for my dd who is 8 but small height for her age and also has a bit of a tummy.
I have a nightmare findng jeans for her because of the trend now for skinny jeans, which also seem to be hipster/low rise style,a lot of shops sell nothing but this style!
Any help is much appriciated

Next are great for jeans...they do all the trendy ones but they also do the 'basic' jeans which are around £6 for my little girl who is 3 so they might be a few pounds extra for an 8 year old

I agree about the 'skinny' jeans thing. My DD wont wear them and I struggled to find any reasonably price normal jeans for her this autumn. Found some great wide leg adjustable waisted ones in Asda for about £5-6 and she loves them.Debt free as of July 2010 :j

H and M ?
Gap ?
Primark ? (some styles are better than others)
I despair sometimes as kids clothes seem to be made to fit very unusually shaped kids lol!Ermutigung wirkt immer besser als Verurteilung.

I've given up on jean's for dd who has a belly too although is tall for her age, got her some of those nice jeans/leggings things from H&M a few sizes up of her age, they are fine, they do wrinkle a bit on the lower leg but that seems to be how "the kids" are wearing them anyway.Booo!!!0

Thanks for the suggestions, Primark and h and m only had the skinny jeans and the lady in H& M directed me to the boys jeans as they may have been a better fit, dd was not impressed!
Might try m & s online if i can return them as the selection in our local store is awful, hardly any kids stuff at all. I did get some great ones from tescos but she has grown since and again they are all the skinny type. Hard work for just a pair of jeans!:hello: Hiya, I'm single mom, avid moneysaver and freecycler, sometimes  but definatly

I have the same problem with my dd who's 3, I just bought the next size up which made the body a suitable length, the legs are a bit long but I just wrinkle up the lower leg. I also bought a couple of pairs with belts which helps to keep them upProud to be dealing with my debts

Next do a childrens range that is aimed at kids who have a slightly larger waist than their age group, so you dont have to buy a size up, and then find the legs are too long
its called Plus Fit - its not available on all clothing, but there is usually a good selection of them
check this item no: 490-512-G46 you should see what i mean
