talktalk -v - sky

With talktalk for phone and broadband, not great reliability.

Have sky HD - thinking of going to sky for phone and broadband.

In straight comparison between two - any thoughts?

Leave TalkTalk ASAP if I were you. Awful company.

You can't move from Talk Talk broadband and phone, to Sky Talk and Broadband as far as I'm aware, this is because you no longer have a BT line,you have to go back to BT first.
But check with Sky as I may be wrong.

PS I'm with Sky broadband and it works well for me, also customer support has improved greatly over the last year or so.

You can move but sky charge a £39 reconnection fee for the phone line... they also can't action the b/band request until the phone line is moved over!

I had to wait for 10 days from the phone line switch for the b/band to be activated but worth every penny to get away from those muppets.
