Bad luck, they didn't ask me for any ID when I opened online. I just had to sign the form and return it. If I'd gone into a branch I'd have needed the id. Double check the covering letter which tells you exactly what they need in your case.0

Medical card.
Driving licence is good if you have one as it has address and photo.
I haven't had to do this for the last 2 accounts (new customer at both) as they have been able to verify on line. Big Brother can save a bit of effort!0 -

Yes Utilities bill should be fine for address make sure its not a mobile phone bill dont tend to like them !0
