Ticket touts - makes me mad

it's like if I walked into a shop before you, and heard you saying that you wanted a certain pair of trainers. I see there are only one pair left, so I buy them, despite me not wanting them, to sell them to you at an inflated price. I had no interest in the trainers, and I heard you were desperate for them, so I jumped in first.
It's different if you are supplying them to people who had no other means of getting them, then they would probably just be grateful to get what they want, but to jump in first is greedy.0 -
I completly agree with selling tickets on Ebay. Why shouldnt people buy them and sell them on to make a profit? Its their choice and they can do as they please. If you cannot get the tickets first then sorry but thats the way it goes, you have as much chance as the tout of getting tickets, if not more chance if you are a member of the fan club or whatever.0

my daughters made a mistake on booking online for killers tickets in september, when they told her of card problem they had all sold,we were so mad we mentioned ebay to them(seetickets)and they said they were working with ebay to remove them ,she got told she was 9th on list, she got call next morning to say tickets were hers,as there was only 3,000 tickets for this event it was sickening to see them selling on ebay for £500 plus0

They've done that to me before when i had some kooks tickets a while back, couldnt believe they just cancelled my order without asking to check details or another card. Id bought a computer earlier in the day so the card probably reached a daily floor limit kind of thing.pondie1 wrote:my daughters made a mistake on booking online for killers tickets in september, when they told her of card problem they had all sold (0 -

I've bought tickets off ebay before and got bargains, mostly recently went last week to see Little Britain, 6 rows from the front and only £45 for two tickets which would have cost an awful lot more if I'd bought them when they first went on sale.
I've been checking ebay US for some dates when we go to New York at the end of Nov - NY Law prohibits the tickets being resold over a certain amount so at least you know there is a ceiling these guys can charge.0 -
