Pah - spendy day for me, so far a train ticket, a hot chocolate at the station (waiting an hour for the train) and a croissant near work (no time for breakfast as had to leave 2.5hours earlier than I usually do.)

Not a good start to December - I should have stayed in bed like the rest of the street (or possibly the rest of the town).

    hi all!!

ahhh its the 1st of december and iv hardly done any christmas shopping

oh well, right im gonna sign op for 10 this month and really concentrate on not buying silly snacks and juice at work (this is my downfall) plus this will help me squeeze into my party dress :D

will be tough to get 10 with all the shopping needing done, but will try get most of it done in one day and hopefully should pick up a few NSDs from 24th onwards (although i am working xmas day, boxing day etc - but hopefully the bosses will provide a buffet or the like for us!)

good luck to everyone else - i wont get a NSD today, need to go get some xmas stuff

  • Right, after a disatrous last month on the NSD front this month is going to make up for it. I have moved back home and currently have no income apart from any ebay stuff I manage to shift. I won't be counting any fees from ebay in my NSD total, or any money I need to spend to get to work (when I get some)
I would like to Aim for 15 NSDS this month. Hopefully with no money coming in I'll be less naughty in time for christmas, because Santa writes a list, AND he checks it twice!;)

Finally my OH's firm have seen sense - he is now off to get a train to London. Leaves Edi at 1pm so at least he'll get there today.( I hope)
He's been hanging around at the (closed) airport since 5am waiting for his office to rearrange his travel:mad:
I'm snowed in ........again........ as our streets are not a priority per the council:mad:
Will pop in to see my M& D later, they are ok foodwise, but suffering from cabin fever! Mums always have enough grub to last for about 3 months dont they?:rotfl:
Will do my cards later, a job I'm not mad about, so I'll be glad to get it out of the way!;)

This one does - and probably for a lot longer than that if truth be told ;)

Not an NSD for me today, as 1st is always a D/Debit day (unless it's a weekend/bank holiday). Only one D/Debit today though, as the other that used to go out on 1st has now been cancelled (TV Licence, as I'm going without one from 1st Jan)

Will be picking up a few bits from work today since it's already a spend day - my fresh spuds have been sprouting for the past week, so I'll get some fresh ones before panic buying sets in/deliveries start to be hampered by the snow (we still don't have much locally, but it's enough to bring on the start of problems I think). They also have some garlic butter on offer at the moment - 50p for a pack of 4 portions. Picked one up last week, and have turned part cooked baguettes into yummy garlic bread twice in the last week. Offer's meant to be on until the end of this week I think, but as it has a bbe of April 2011 I'll stock up on a 'few' more packs today and squeeze them into the fridge while they're on offer :) (Nice though it is, it's not something I'd pay full price for)

LOL - if we are ever under siege, all the NSD'ers will be heading your way Cheryl. We all know about your freezers/ stashes:rotfl:

  • Hi all,
I'm a newbie and noticed the NSD thread last month so tried midway through and managed to do quite a few - it's a great incentive! I've bought all but one of my xmas pressies (thanks to boots for advantage card points and 3 for 2 offers) so please put me down for 15 NSD in December.
