    Happy New Year all :D

I saw in the New Year being deafened by a dog !! Seems a lot of folks around me have clocks/watches that are running fast, as the fireworks started at 11:55pm  They quietened down enough by 00:15am for me to go to bed, but I still had to put up with a couple more barking sessions in the 10 mins or so after that :(

Personally I was more worried by the number of chinese lantern things that were being set off. Looked like someone had got a job lot, and by the time they came directly over my house a number of them were starting to lose height :o And an 'almost' neighbour was setting some off from their back garden which barely made it over the house next door to them before being collected by an up-draught..... I was rather worried one of those was going to catch on gutters/tiles and start a fire

Hopefully I'll be back tomorrow with another roundup, but no guarantees as we're out tomorrow and I may be incapable of counting by the time I get back:D
 Have a good time Spoon

Personally I think you should take the day off from trying to organise us (even my workplace is closed today ;))

:A:A Happy New Year all you lovely NSD gang :A:A

I've been doing this challenge for a whole year now, and it has totally changed the way I think about money. Big thanks to all of you, especially Spoon and BigMummaF, for your constant support, encouragement and laughs. It makes saving money so much fun!

Right, speech over. I dont know if any of you will recall that I posted a few days ago that I'd got no chance of meeting my target unless I got struck down with flu - well, that was a silly thing to say!! Been poorly sick since Thursday, which meant I had 3 NSD's in a row at the end of the month to meet my target of 16!!! :):) Not the best way to get a NSD but never mind. Also had the soberest New Years Eve since I was 16 - popped out to the local (after filling myself full of lemsip and painkillers) at 11pm to see in the new year with DH and my friends, only had 2 drinks and in bed at a sensible time!

See you all on the January thread xx
Trying to jump back onto the moneysaving wagon ....

*a dark shadowy figure enters stage right, fedora pulled down low & cape held high over face, Zorro stylee* Woooo-hoooo-hooo-wwaaaaaaaaaaa *twiddles non-existent moustache* evilgrin.gif My devilish plan to hide those dahhlink weeedull pwiggits worked! Just where do they think I've been these past two days!*swish-swish across centre stage* Little do they know that was no HOG roast mwah-mwah-waa-waaaaaaa *exit stage left to booos & sssssssssssizzzzzzzzzz from the auditorium of the Tardis*

In truth, Mum's been a bit under the weather again so I've been staying with her :o but it has meant I managed another 2 nsds so busted my third target too with a final total of 20 for December. I'm not saying she's telling porkies (hence my hiding the hog roast :rotfl:) but I've a sneaking suspicion it's the desire for company rather than an ailment that brings the Royal Summons to the Palace of Parenthood
Either way, I'm only home now to grab a change of clothes & cuddle the pets--The Offspring are big enough & ugly enough to look out for themselves:p--so I'll nip over to the Jan thread while I can :(
