Motorola L6 £29.99 on orange, L7 £54.99+free £10 airtime suit Orange OVP?

Last year we kitted the family out with Sony Ericson 300is free due to a glitch on the Orange website that allowed Orange OVP customers to upgrade for nothing. Thought it was time to look again. Nothing for free but noticed:
L6 for £34.99 http://shop.orange.co.uk/shop/buy/payg/handset
and L& for £59.99 (including free £10 airtime voucher) http://shop.orange.co.uk/shop/buy/payg/handset
Go through Quidco to get £5 knocked off the price (after a wait).
Checked them on pricerunner (although this isn't definitive) and came up with cheapest L6 on Orange £49.95 (less quidco fiver) and L7 on Orange at £79.95 (less Quidco fiver and £10 airtime).
Others on here might find this at a better price I guess but I haven't yet. Also ebay prices are more expensive by some way (recent completed listings).
Might enable some OVP users to upgrade their housebrick at not too much expense.
Hope this is of help.

I got the Motorola L6 PAYG from Orange, via quidco, £45, after quidco and £10 credit, works out at £30 which isn't bad at all.
However out of the big 3 manufactures, Motorola has the worse UI compared to SE or Nokia, so I would really recommend people who get the L6 or L7 (L7 being overpriced imo for what it is) know or have at least used a Motorola UI.0 -

Depends what you want, I bought the L7 specifically to use the MP3 player on the way to the pub so I only have to carry one thing not a phone and seperate mp3 player.
As a MP3 player it's not great, but it's convenience I prefer, Moto are also the only people who tend to put bluetooth on everything, the equivalent SE or Nokia didn't have bluetooth, so they were a non starter for me when in the car.
The UI is odd but you get used to it, in some ways it's better than Nokia's I'ved used in that you can customise how it is and assign all the soft buttons different functions than they defaults, (assuming whoever you get it from hasn't stuffed the interface by branding it), But as you say this is my 3rd moto in a row and so it's pretty straighforward to me now..0 -
the l7 is £69 not 59

All PAYG handsets frm Orange have to be purchased with a £10 top up card which gets added to your basket hence the difference in prices. Not sure the top up card is transferable either.0

Orange Value Promise
Where they matched other network tariffs, they've stopped that now.0 -
If it is an unlocked 3g phone a 2g/old orange sim will work fine in it0
