Nikia 6230i says barred when dialling out, please help !
Hi, ( Typing error sorry.........Should have said Nokia )
My daughter mobile was stolen last week, so I rang o2 to ask them to have it blocked so as not to run up a big bill, as I am the bill payer.
She's in Uni, and a day or so later it was discovered in another students flat along with lots of other stuff, so she got it back luckily.
I rang o2 again to explain and have tha phone unblocked....................Everything worked fine until this morning, when she suddenly couldn't receive incoming calls and when she dialled out, it said..Call Barred...........
I rang o2 to see if it had been blocked again by mistake or if there was something wrong with the network.......They said everything was fine and it wasn't blocked.
They suggested that she take the sim card out and clean it and put it back in.( She's miles from here so I had to ring her on a landline to give her all this info ),
She did all that, but it was still the same.
I don't know if anything was done to the phone while it was stolen, it doesn't appear so.
I'm wondering if anyone on here can suggest a solution or has any ideas at all.
o2 said they'd send another sim card and to try that when it arrives.
I've suggested that she takes her mobile into an o2 shop if possible and see if they can help.
HELP !!!!!!!
Thanks
