Just be aware Barclays use terrible overseas call centres and the only non-overseas person i spoke to sounded like Vicky Pollard. They also have only a handful of branches in Scotland and don't let you use the Post Office in Scotland.

Obviously, that's all aside from their poor product range.

On the plus side, they do have nice adverts though.

The cash card account can be used in Scottish Post Offices. According to this. The normal current account can't.

Me too. They don't have any money up there do they?
    The banks, or the people?

    Oh, you mean both! ;)

what do you mean by that? are you calling everyone who lives in Scotland poor?

Scotland,s only poor because we share our north sea oil with our neighbours.
I have a deep burning indifference

Not exactly. We are given to understand your houses are all worth well over a £million, and still rising fast.

But you have 'Mickey Mouse' money don't you? Bank of England notes are the only banknotes that are ‘legal tender’ in England and Wales.

And seeing as we don't live in england or wales, your point is....?
