I wonder whether it would be quicker to bring it to the attention of the "celebs" involved (or rather, their lawyers).

Had to laugh at some of the people listed though - Helen Mirren? Sorry, I think she's lovely and a national treasure, but...totty? Katie Derham? (I know she reads MSE so :lipsrseal) Honestly, aren't there enough wierd stalker types out there already?

(Although if these are still up by next week, frankly I'm opening another eBay account and downloading a free copy of gimp...)

Same seller under another ID selling even more fake risque shots on eBay also registered as a business seller!

I contacted Suzi Perry's Agent (among others) and all Suzi's pics were removed and have not been relisted.

In fact, the seller no longer seems to list "fantasy nudes" so looks like threats of legal action ensued hehe

I contacted the BBC as a lot of their contracted people were featured, never even got a response.

Same, I contacted Granada as well

In fact, of the dozen or so Agents and companies I emailed only Suzi's Agent replied. Lovely person though and grateful for the tip off. I reckon the others took notice though judging from her complete removal of listings.

If I had a suspicious mind I would wonder if the response may have been different if these had been male celebs and aimed at the gay market..The idea that nothing was acknowledged and these all happened to be women worries me. Some of the original images (mainly gone now) were bordering on the underage as well which was definitely distasteful.

Seller is still there although some of the listings have been pulled but the other ID (same seller) which is listing worse pics are still up!

I just love the title of this thread. Of course it's weird.
Bordering on the strange though that so many people have been contacting agencies etc. to alert the targets. They really don't care. In fact, it's all grist for the mill. Most of these modern "celebrities" are basically talentless individuals with a flair for self promotion.
The only ones who would probably object are the likes of the vile Jordan, who would want a cut of the profits.
