Received a call this afternoon from ESA so quite quickly really.
The guy was very helpful, spoke clearly and repeated everything I wasnt sure about. the claim is now live and he has printed off everything and sent it to me in the post to read though but I do not need to do anything else now except to send in my doctors note.
    Overall a good experience.
    Happy days

    Why?

    Do they just ignore it?
No, the poster I was responding to cancelled their claim because a few details were off, the whole point of the 'Customer Statement' is that people get an exact copy of what has been input to the system by the user (Except forsome of the detail which pulls through from a central system).

All they had to do was correct the detail over the phone but they instead completed a new claim, via the post, which delayed things needlessly.

Any idea how long they store them (the recordings)?
The majority of recordings should be stored for a statutory period (I think its statutory anyway) of 14 months. In some cases they should be stored for a longer period of time.
