I am going to buy a humax foxsat HDR. Get sattelite dish fitted. Need a TV to go with it, either 32 or 37 inch, Hd ready. I find the number of models overwhelming. Any advice out there? Many thanks in advance

Depends on your budget, but if you want a HD TV at a decent price:

Hi Kerry
I came across this site which appears to have found the best priced Freesat related products for any budget and they've only got details of a small amount of well researched ones rather than the overwhelming choice you often find on sites that offer everything.
I was unsure about the difference between getting Freesat or Freesat+ so sent them a contact form and they got back to me really quickly, resulting in a purchase linked from their useful site.
It's freesatboxes with an org.uk ending to the site - sorry new user so can't put a link on here, all new to me!
Good luck and hope this helps ;-)0 -
Well, I just checked that site for a price on the Humax Foxsat HD box, and it just clicks through to Play.com, whose price is a fiver more than high street outlets such as Richer Sounds, So hardly the 'best priced products'
New user posting links like this, I smell SPAM...
Edit: in fact, every product on that site just takes you through to Play.com!No free lunch, and no free laptop

I'd be looking for a 1080 screen if the budget will stretch. Lots of TVs at this size will be 720 or (more likely) 768 pixels tall. Your Humax box will push out 1080x1920 pixels (interlaced) (that's Full HD resolution, and SD stuff gets upscaled), so to avoid the picture being squashed (resulting in a loss of quality), go for 1080. Obviously a 37 inch is preferable! You haven't mentioned a budget...0
