It works, but unless you've pre-arranged it, all links in signatures are removed by the Forum Team. Just so you know."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

Z is a wonderful source of knowledge! Makes sense to have it close to hand.2023: the year I get to buy a car0

hello phew i never knew cake making was so energy draining.
Douglas's full name is Port Douglas after somewhere i went in Oz, when we came back my sister and i called all our piggies and bunnies after Oz theme'd places/things. Douglas is very cool though i have to admit and he's just gorgous.
Cakes have been baked, going to pick up some biscuit trees from my sister tomorow and then we'll have a large table full. the things that have impressed me the most is that i haven't well cooked aka burnt a single one and i used an icing bag for the first time. The cutest ones are the mini victoria sandwiches, i'm very tempted for the one with lemon curd in it to not make it to OH's workplace it looks so yummy.
double glazing man came this morning and his quote was very reasonable, well i think i was but i haven't bought such things before. We can afford them without resorting to credit but it does mean that all my savings towards Norbert will be gone, but i supose i can save them again, it just means that my DFD goes back about 12 months. Ah the decisions!0 -
If you've actually got the money LT, it might just be worth it to keep you warm and comfortable, and the house from being damp. Is there anywhere specific you can ask on here for advice about if the quote's reasonable? I have no idea about such things I'm afraid! You've saved up once, and you'll be able to do it again xx
Well done on the cakes, and I'm SO impressed you did it all without burning any! :T :T Gosh, I love cake making, but if I was making for an audience mine would have been all burnt round the edges, soggy in the middle, and sunk! So a big cheer for you :j :j Hope it goes well today!
Morning Pippi and everyone - how is it in the frozen north this morning?? I've been checking the Kirkwall webcam every day for a couple of weeks now (not that I'm like an overexcited child about coming on holiday or anything :rotfl: :rotfl:) looks a bit soggy up there but not much snow left? (but that's only one street in the main town, so might be all wrong!)0
