Are oil and gas boilers basically the same, just that they use different fuels and what are the comparable running costs?
It is just that I have seen house I would like to buy but it has oil central heating, there is no gas anywhere near.

They reckon that mains gas online costs is 3.65 p per kWh vs kerosene (heating oil) at 5.59p per kWh.0
