My stuff is not selling!!!!

  • Thanks guys, very useful Mrs Sparkle, I did get the items weighed and the actual postage cost was £2.60 so buy the time I have bought a jiffy bag and some packing I thought that £4 was ok. Maybe I need to look again at that.

I really can't do the Paypal thing. They still have £60 of OH cash and give no reason for holding it. They have now suspended his account and inspite of constant calling etc we cannot get the account reinstated. So I do not want the hassle. When my credit card number changed I was not going to jump through the hoops of ID etc for them again and my account has lapsed. I do know it can be a problem both for selling and buying but I see more and more accounts where people will not take it.

I don't understand about my layout. I just use the standard layout and try to keep the blub short. The records have watchers and the Wham one has now got a bidder so maybe that will be ok. The books are ones that I enjoyed so I kinda thought others may too, however I do take the point that there are a lot on there and the p&p may put people off when they can go to the charity shop and get them. I also now have a bidder for one of my computer games. So maybe I did panic too early. I have not sold much on ebay before - I am more of a carbooter.

Thanks for all your advice folks

    Louise

    Hi Louise,

I can't see anything wrong with your layout either so I wouldn't worry about that. As you say a lot of people will wait till the last minute before bidding so it's not unusual to see no action till the last day. Frustrating though isn't it!

    Good luck- C

  • It's been mixed for me recently. I managed to sell contact lens solution for fairly decent prices, although each sale seemed to be slightly less each time. I also managed to sell a faulty iPod too for spares. In the last few days I've had a couple of BIN sales, although at fairly low prices and there's a lot of interest in a gift set I put on.

On the other hand, I've relisted my iSkin twice and no success so far. There is also very little interest in a car charger I'm selling. I think that is down to the fact that there are a lot of listings for such items.
