Weekend 27th/28th November -What small DFW things will you be doing this Weekend?!?

Morning All,
I hope you don’t mind me starting the thread today – loads to do so I am up early
When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.
:money:
Hugs to everyone who needs them and I hope everybody is having a relaxing Saturday.
Today I have/will:
• Meals from stores
• Checked bank – no change but have to check
• NSD – will not go into town today
• Need to sort out the MS accounts – been meaning to do this for a while…must do this today
• Read papers online
• Need to upload the CD’s that I bought onto my MP3 – part of a MS job the other week…again still have not done this
• Need to dig out loads of books and things to ebay
• Need to make a start on my work party dress
• Need to sew on some hook and eyes to a piece of ribbon to safely attach my pedometer (it’s a long story)
• Check lottery tickets
• Enter shed loads of comps online (in serious need of cash for a new roof…it’s a long story and too stressful to think about)
• Watch things on the sky box (instead of going out)
Think that is about it, take care everyone

My money-saving item today is...
Salvaged nine lever arch files, despite being in excellent condition, which were being thrown out by a business which is closing down by my office during the week . Have painted over spine labels this morning with old paint from the shed and can now re-use files to reorganise my bills and letters
.- Files not going to landfill
- Old paint used up
